A grit and glamour infused production, focused on introducing the next generation of theatre makers to one of Bob Fosse’s most iconic bodies of work. This teen-aged cast explored the material as seen through Roxie Hart’s eyes, creating a balanced world of the realities of crime and media and a fantastical, dream-like world of fame and celebrity. Cast members were tasked with questioning the sensationalization of crime-doers and the consequences media involvement has on prisoners and public opinion alike.
