A nuanced and celebratory journey through the career of one of the most recognized female singer-songwriters. This production focused on embellishing the juxtaposition of a glitzy, fast-paced jukebox musical set against the highly realistic and competitive music industry. The cast explored the complexities of King’s ability to forgive in the face of betrayal while capturing the heartache and joy found in her music.
